Sierra Health Council

SB 35

E-mail Print PDF

Update: Feb 3rd

Message from NMAHC Executive Committee:
Senate Finance is waiting for HB2 (the main legislative budget) from the House of Representatives. Once they receive HB 2 from the House they will have hearings. The funding we are requesting for health councils will be offered as an amendment to HB 2. SB 35 will not be heard until that time. After the Senate makes the amendments it will be sent back to the House for approval.

Your voice has been heard and we will call on you again soon to ask members of the Senate Finance Committee to support the amendment adding our request for funding of health councils in NM  to the proposed House budget.
