It takes a Community! The 1st Teen Maze Sierra County would not have been possible without the hard work and commitment of so many local organizations and individuals. There were over 50 participants that worked to make Teen Maze a huge success. A special shout out is extended to core team members Kay Burrows, Phyllis Mecca, and Jennie Shepperd. The construction of the maze could not have happened without the generous support of Al Bauer, City of T or C Civic Center Manager.
Also, our heartfelt appreciation goes out to the leaders of our local organizations who supported and encouraged their staff to contribute their time, expertise, and creativity to this worthwhile community adventure. The games that were created by each agency were wonderfully educational and fun and will impact the future behavior of our teens. The responses we received from the teens were overwhelmingly positive.
