April 2014- Jay Armijo, Executive Director of South Central Council of Governments (SCCoG), will release van to the City of TorC very soon. Also, the South Central Regional Transit District (SCRTD) will announce a pilot project by the end of April to begin transportation from Sierra County to Las Cruces. The system will be a free service to run though November 2014.

Community Health Improvement Training Institute (CHITI)
The Community Health Improvement Training Institute (CHITI) will provide an overview of general topics such as needs assessment, planning, evaluation and organizational skills which target local community health councils and small non-profit organizations with tools to improve coalition-building skills and contribute to workforce development. The training has proven successful!
