The Core Advocacy Training is a 40-hour initial skills and knowledge training for advocates of domestic violence victims/survivors in New Mexico, funded by the Children Youth and Families Department (CYFD). It is designed for new advocates; however, it is open to all.
May 2014- SCRTD pilot project (called Rio Grande Transit) is providing free bus service between Sierra County and Las Cruces through November 2014 (see attached bus schedule & http://www.scrtd.org/schedules.php). This bus does not provide local transportation. Sierra Health Council Transportation Committee is working on bringing a local transportation system to Sierra County.
